Once again, Electricfor took part in Expoquimia 2026, the International Chemistry Meeting held from 2 to 5 June at Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue. Coinciding with the event’s 60th anniversary, our team attended this international showcase to present its latest advances in replacing fossil-fuel burners with high-precision electric systems.

An Established Presence: Electricfor’s History at the Chemical Industry Trade Fair

Electricfor’s participation in Expoquimia is built on extensive trade fair experience that reflects the evolution of the technical and environmental requirements of Spain’s process industries:

• 2017 and 2021 editions — Safety and chemical resistance: At previous editions, the company’s product range focused on heating elements specifically designed for explosive atmospheres, including its ATEX range, as well as the consolidation of its titanium heating elements in the market. These systems became an industrial safety benchmark for heating highly corrosive fluids and operating in aggressive electrochemical environments.
• 2023 edition — The shift towards alternative energy: At Expoquimia 2023, the engineering company took a strategic step by adapting its product offering to the energy transition. During that edition, it focused on steam superheaters and advanced thermal equipment designed for green hydrogen production, directly addressing the sustainability demands of the global chemical industry.

Expoquimia 2026: A Hub for Industrial Decarbonisation

At the 2026 edition, held against a backdrop of clear growth for the trade fair, Electricfor’s stand served as a specialised technical meeting point for researchers, engineers and plant managers. In a year when the event placed particular emphasis on green chemistry and zero-emission technologies, the company demonstrated the practical feasibility of electrifying heat in large-scale industrial processes, offering customised equipment designed to comply with current European environmental regulations.
