A new edition of Expoquimia, the International Chemistry Meeting organized by Fira de Barcelona, was held this June. Electricfor could not miss the event, which met all expectations, welcoming almost 19,000 visitors during four days of intense activity. We had the chance to present our company's innovations in electric heaters and electric elements for chemical applications and industrial processes in general.

The Expoquimia fair, which takes place biannually, is considered the leading spanish event in the sector, and is, without a doubt, one of the main ones in its field in Europe. It serves as a great showcase to publicize the latest advances, products and services related to chemistry and plastic. Also to be up to date with the trends that will mark the future. This year, more than 1,500 brands have been represented through conferences, symposiums, activities and 590 direct exhibitors, including Electricfor. Its central axis was the circular economy, the digitization of industry and technology transfer.

Electricfor could confirm during the event the optimistic atmosphere that the chemical sector is living in nowadays. Our heating equipment made with electrical resistances is designed taking into account the solutions demanded by the market. In this sense, we can contribute to the improvement of a key sector for economic development. Through its applications in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, energy, petrochemicals, and the process industry (electrification as the key to decarbonization, and hydrogen production), we are increasingly aware that we must bet on sustainability. For this aim, it is essential to have state-of-the-art technology capable of offering exhaustive control of production processes.

During the exhibition, Electricfor's commercial department presented a catalog whose wide range includes heating elements not only for the chemical industry, but also for petrochemicals, electroplating, paint and varnish, plastic and surface treatment. At our stand we gave special prominence to superheaters for the production and/or superheating of steam, as well as applications in hydrogen production processes, as alternative energy. Heating groups for ATEX zones (explosive atmospheres) for heating liquids and gases, including cast aluminum elements, also aroused the interest of visitors. Most of them were professionals, researchers and academics from around the world.

The visits and queries received during the Expoquimia fair had a technical profile above all, which consolidates the confidence of this group in our product. At Electricfor we greatly value the quality of the business contacts made, taking into account that, as a company, we design and produce heating elements and equipment to serve this particular sector, adapting our design to the needs of each application.

Expoquimia 2023 has been a great space for networking, commercial opportunities and knowledge exchange. For yet another year, it achieved the objective of promoting collaboration and business development. We hope to return in the future with more news to show.
