Electricfor has just designed and manufactured for a prestigious Persian Gulf engineering company several circulation heaters disposed with the ATEX certification, essential to guarantee for the purposes of Directive 2014/34/EU that electrical resistors and other devices used in explosive atmospheres can carry out a job without risk and with the maximum efficiency.
It is a company specialized in Oil & Gas and petrochemical projects that will use these industrial heaters in a petrochemical plant in their area. The equipment will work with steam and nitrogen at a temperature of 450ºC. As with any circulation heater, the material to be heated circulates through its interior redirected by interleaved baffles. The heating elements have been designed and constructed with Alloy 800 material for greater corrosion resistance. This nickel-iron-chromium alloy is excellent for preventing oxidation and carburation at elevated temperatures. The heating equipment has been insulated with mineral blanket and aluminum enclosure for greater heat and safety optimization.
In Electricfor, the manufacture of electrical resistors is the result of a whole process of development and control of the entire heating project from the beginning. In our thermoelectric solutions we seek that efficiency, consumption and control be combined in the best possible way. In the case of protective measures in ATEX electric heating elements, our purpose is to reduce to optimum levels the probability that these, whether by surface temperature or by electric arc, can become a source of ignition.
In its trajectory as a designer and producer of electric heating heaters and heating equipment, Electricfor has manufactured a great amount of custom GCP circulation heaters, adapting its design to each particular case, always in tune with the specific regulations of each country and complying with the certifications and approvals required in each project (IECEx, ATEX, EAC and UL / CSA). Our circulation heaters can be manufactured heat-insulated or not, depending on their use temperature, horizontally or vertically, etc. Please click on the attached document for further information.
